Bearing in mind that Kite designing is a skill and one of the many interesting ways of tapping the creativity of students, a Kite Making competition was organized in BIS on this day . Students from Grade III to VII were provided with thin textured brightly coloured sheets of paper, bamboo sticks, fevicol, ribbons, threads, and beads. Children came up with innovative designs , stuck cutouts of colourful papers, stickers, calligraphy and made collages on them .Finally the proud craftmen kept them aside to fly on’ Makar Sankrant’ .
